In our country, the use of imported inputs increases in the production process and a situation arises against the production of domestic intermediate goods. This increase in imports of intermediate goods shows the importance of using more efficient and efficient domestic resources in the production process for stable and sustainable growth. Among the products we import in Sakarya; It is known that our domestic industry has products that can even be produced, but it is not known which company imported which product and why. For this reason, we support the project with our International Trade Department teachers in the project supported by SATSO, together with the Sakarya Machinery Manufacturers Association (SAMIB), by the TC EAST MARMARA DEVELOPMENT AGENCY. Our aim in this project; By determining our dependency on imports in the machinery sector and measuring the degree of dependence of the sector on imports, by ensuring that the imported goods are manufactured in our city with cheaper and higher quality; promoting use in the local market. Within the scope of the import map, which will be prepared with the data obtained from the companies producing machinery in our province and using imported products in manufacturing, it will determine which product, how long and why it imported and the rate of imported inputs, and meetings of the manufacturers will be organized locally.
