Turkey Exporters Assembly (TIM), Turkey's 500 Largest Exporter Services announced the latter's Survey. Turkey's first 500 entered service between exporter of Sakarya University (SAU), state universities category at the 5th.
Sakarya University Faculty of Business International Trade Department was included in the research this year in order to contribute to SAU's internationalization strategy. There are 17 categories in the research conducted according to the declaration method. With over 3 thousand international students, SAU was among the top 5 in the study, which it participated in the category of Educational Services - Public Universities.
Underlining that it is not a coincidence that Sakarya University catches a rising line in every field, Rector Prof. Dr. Muzaffer Elmas said, “We closely follow the developments in the world. With the quality-oriented transparent management model we have developed, we are achieving our goals faster. SAU ranks first in many rankings every year. ”
Noting that they attach great importance to internationalization, Elmas said, “When we took office in 2011, we had around 200 international students. Currently this number has reached 4 thousand. Our target for the next year is to increase the number of our international students to 5,000. ”
Turkey's 14.9 billion dollars in 1995, services exports in 2015 rose to $ 46.3 billion. 2016 is a difficult process, it said Turkey 38 billion dollars in exports of services was carried out. In 2023, Turkey's exports of services was identified as the target of 150 billion dollars. So in 2030 the share of Turkey's exports of services in total exports is expected to rise to 27. Service exports, which were 47 billion dollars in 2015, are expected to reach 139 billion dollars with an average annual growth of 7.5 percent in 2030.
