The most important developments to meet under this department are 2023 export target - 500 billion $ - of Turkey , increasing interest of international investors towards Turkey and significant roles of Turkish entrepreneurs in abroad. Besides, global trend of specialized departments instead of traditional ones and expert deficit in labor markets raise the importance of international trade department. We have started our journey by accepting the students to Master Programs in 2013 Spring and undergraduate level at the 2013-2014 Autumn.
Our Department is ongoing according to basic approaches that are summarized below:
International Trade and Finance Department of Sakarya University aims to be a department that closest to students and stays on course to reach this target. Personal academic advising for not only master students but also undergraduate students by academic staff, activities that oriented personal and career developments, continuously updated social accounts and official web site; are some of them.

Our department aims that close relationship with related stakeholders at private sector. Therefore, undergraduate students of International Trade department attend vocational training program. Additionally, we have been developing projects with significant national and international, private, public and NGOs in the field of International Trade. Also, we encourage our students to participate actively to such projects.
